'I was no longer useful at Chelsea,' says Cole

New Roma signing Ashley Cole says that he was "no longer useful" for Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
The veteran left-back fell behind Cesar Azpilicueta in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge last season and is now keen to push for glory in Serie A with his new club after making the switch at the end of his contract.
Cole, who has signed a two-year deal with theGiallorossi, told reporters: "I've always had a good relationship with Mourinho but the years go by and I was no longer useful for his project at Chelsea.
