Former Real Madrid and Wales coach John Toshack has blasted Gareth Bale for his role in defeat to Sevilla last week.Bale left the pitch on 25 minutes to change his boots - which saw Sevilla score the first of their two goals in the shock win.
"Bale changing his boots 70 minutes in - leaving the pitch to change them - is criminal; the coach should give him the silent treatment for a month. At Liverpool, the club I grew up at, it would be simply inconceivable," said Toshack.
