Man City face battle convincing Everton's Barkley to follow Rodwell road

Manchester City are making Everton star Ross Barkley a priority for the summer market.
The Sunday Express says City have big concerns about meeting their home-grown quota.
It remains to be seen what City would be willing to offer the Toffees to facilitate the move, nor whether Barkley is interested in joining Manuel Pellegrini's side - particularly given Jack Rodwell's struggles after leaving Goodison Park in 2012.
